Minister Cabello: Recent reports indicate 100% hotel occupancy in several areas of the country

This Friday, March 27, the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, reported that the reports received by her office show hotel occupancy levels above 90% in several regions of the country and in some areas it has already reached 100%.
During the program A Pulso broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he confirmed that 511 beaches are suitable for the healthy enjoyment of Venezuelan families for this Holy Week in 2026 and recalled that in Venezuela all beaches are public, open to everyone equally.
He announced that national and international artists will participate in the national concert lineup that will take place from April 01 to 05, a music festival that will reach the states of Yaracuy, Lara, Portuguesa, Falcón, Anzoátegui, Nueva Esparta, Monagas, Aragua, La Guaira and Zulia as part of the recreational activities of the Easter holiday.
He also reported that beach festivals will also be held, for which purpose work tables have been established to mitigate environmental impact and protect nature.
On the other hand, Cabello pointed out that on instructions from the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, a comprehensive organizational deployment was carried out in the Morrocoy National Park.
He explained that meetings were held with service providers, who requested support, and it was agreed to strengthen the quality of care and promote greater awareness about park care, while stressing that situations such as those that occurred in Cayo Los Juanes during the Carnival holidays should not be repeated .
In this context, he argued that in order to enjoy Morrocoy National Park, it is mandatory to comply with the rules established in its regulations of use, which are not new and have been in force for years.
He asserted that the rules are aimed at ensuring the protection of the ecosystem, order in tourist activities and responsible behavior within the park, with the purpose of preserving this important natural heritage for present and future generations.
The minister considered it extremely important to guide Venezuelans towards sustainable tourism that would preserve three fundamental rights of the People and fully protect the national heritage.
In this topic, he proposed the three strategic axes defined by the ministerial portfolio, which are: Right to recreation; Right to economic development and Right to the preservation of nature.
In this context, he reported that the National Tourism Institute has launched a training campaign to promote environmental awareness throughout the national territory.
He also highlighted that language training is included in this plan, providing service providers with the opportunity to carry out exchanges with tourism universities in other countries.
Referring to the tourism sector, the minister stressed that the country's tourism sector has been affected by the unilateral coercive measures imposed against the nation; however, Venezuela has achieved successful economic development in the face of external adversities.
He stated that this engine significantly drives the Venezuelan economy, which continues its constant evolution.
In this regard, he highlighted that Venezuela has recently participated in three international fairs, in which valuable experiences have been obtained.
He pointed out that these meetings have opened up opportunities to expand air connectivity, including proposals for charter flights from Cali and Medellín to Margarita or Caracas, as well as talks with a Canadian airline to reactivate routes from Montreal.
He also mentioned meetings with the German ambassador to explore the return of the airline Condor, together with the European tour operator TUI, in order to promote the destination Venezuela.
