Minister Calixto Ortega: National productive fabric has remained intact after the earthquakes

The Sectorial Vice President of Economy and Finance, Calixto Ortega, specified that during the last few weeks an evaluation was carried out after the earthquakes recorded on June 24, which showed that the Venezuelan productive system showed greater resilience than initially expected.

He also pointed out that both the oil sector and the national productive fabric have remained intact and continue to operate normally, so he affirmed that the nation is moving forward on its path to economic recovery.

Finally, he stressed that the country will continue to promote actions aimed at mobilizing the support of international partners, informing the economic and financial community, and maintaining the objective of restructuring sovereign debt.
