Minister Carlos Mast: Water supply operation in La Guaira exceeds 90%

The Minister of People's Power for Water Care, Carlos Mast Yustiz, reported that to date in the state of La Guaira, “our operations exceed 90% and the distribution in the different areas is improving every day”.

This was stated after carrying out an inspection to verify the progress made in the recovery of the water supply system in the state of La Guaira.

He also indicated that from the outset, six main systems came out of service, including two drinking dams, a water treatment plant and all the adduction that comes from Puerto Cruz and reaches the Mamo sector. “At this point, we have already recovered all the systems,” he emphasized.

He noted that there are still some faults that arose after the situation that occurred and that “it is causing us pressurization problems in the pipes”.

He also noted that with the repairs carried out, they have gained ground to optimize the distribution of water to the various sectors of the entity.
