Minister Ceballos announces the dismantling of a criminal gang in Aragua (+Alexander Lorca)

This Monday, April 22, the Minister for Internal Relations Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, announced the dismantling of a criminal gang, in the Tasajera Zone, in the state of Aragua, which was led by the criminal, fugitive from justice, Alexander Lorca Salazar, who entered the list of the 10 most wanted in the country.

From the headquarters of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), in San Agustín and Caracas, Ceballos Ichaso, explained that during the operation, six who made weapons against the public force were killed.

It was also indicated that he seized war material consisting of 30 war rifles, 4 cell phones, 6 drug pots, cocaine, shotguns, 27 magazines, 2 motorcycles, vehicles and 2,411 rounds of ammunition.

“This time, the CICPC, in coordination with citizen security bodies, has dealt a direct blow to organized crime . We have maintained our efforts to dismantle criminal gangs in the national territory,” he said.

Ceballos Ichaso announced that with the National Criminal Gang Plan 2023-2024, 355 criminal gangs have been dismantled and 567 weapons and 1,048 individuals involved arrested have been seized. “In addition, we have 716 kilos of drugs seized in different operations carried out.”

He indicated that the different citizen security bodies will continue to collect various evidences to find anyone who is a fugitive from justice to guarantee national peace .

In this regard, he invited us to make constant complaints, “both of these people and their collaborators, because they gradually allow us to capture these criminals”.
