In order to promote the export of specialty coffee, a successful tasting event was organized this week, attended by an important group of ambassadors and accredited diplomatic corps in Venezuela.

In this sense, the diplomats tasted the winning coffee of the presidential tasting in a unique sensory experience, which allowed them to appreciate its exceptional quality and establish direct contacts with the producers.
The event had as protagonists of honor the coffee farmers in the Top 10 of the IV International Meeting of Venezuelan Specialty Coffee 2025 (EICEV), who demonstrated with their excellence that national coffee is among the best in the world.
“We are going to improve producer profitability and establish Venezuela as an indispensable player in the demanding global specialty coffee market,” said Minister Godoy.
The proposal to organize specialty coffee tourist routes was enthusiastically received by diplomats and reinforced by the presence of the Minister of Tourism, Leticia Gómez, at the event.
In addition, the Deputy Minister of Export Promotion, Daniella Cabello, and the Deputy Minister of International Trade Policy, Johann Álvarez, participated.
During the guided specialty coffee tasting dedicated to representatives of the Diplomatic Corps from more than 15 countries, Godoy highlighted that today Venezuelan coffee is experiencing a historic renaissance.
“Under the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro and the Q7 Plan, we have put the countryside at the center of the economy. The virtuous alliance between the State and our coffee farmers continues to bear fruit, with a 500 percent growth in coffee exports in the last year, demonstrating that Venezuela is moving with sovereignty towards a new productive economic model,” he said.
