Minister Daniella Cabello announced work to strengthen the Mukumbarí Cable Car

The Minister of Popular Power for
Tourism, Daniella Cabello, reported that the Bolivarian Government is carrying out work
to strengthen the electrical system of the Mukumbarí Cable Car in the state of Mérida.
“Under the instructions of our president in
charge, Delcy Rodríguez, we are currently carrying out preventive
and strengthening work on the electrical system of the Mukumbarí Cable Car, in coordination
with CORPOELEC, to ensure safe and reliable operation during the next holiday
season,” he said through his account on the social network Instagram.
He also stressed the importance of the Mukumbarí Cable Car
System for the Merida economy, benefiting thousands
of families, entrepreneurs and tourism service providers, in addition to
consolidating the Venezuelan Andes as one of the most visited destinations in the country.
“We continue to build tourism with
planning, maintenance and responsibility (...) Our commitment is to continue
working so that the Mukumbarí Cable Car System continues to be a window
to tourism, economic development and the encounter with one of the most
beautiful mountains in the world,” he said.
Finally, he reaffirmed that with these actions, Mérida is
preparing to welcome Venezuelans in the next vacation season.
