Minister Daniella Cabello inspected tourist attractions in Táchira to strengthen its development

With the objective of promoting
sustainable tourism and strengthening the tourist offer of the state of Táchira, the Minister of Popular
Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, led a
working day in the Andean entity that included the inspection of the
Lobatera Pools and a meeting with communities and tourism service providers in San Pedro del Río.
During the tour, the authorities
evaluated the potential of the Lobatera
Pools, one of the region's
main natural attractions, renowned for its emerald waters, rock formations and rich landscape. In addition, proposals
were analyzed to improve infrastructure and access routes,
with the purpose of strengthening the visitor experience.
The minister emphasized the importance of ongoing
training for service providers and tour guides,
considering that training constitutes a key element in raising the
quality of care and consolidating the trust of those who visit Venezuelan tourist
destinations.
Cabello also highlighted the potential of the Venezuela-Colombia binational
corridor as an opportunity to boost the
commercialization of tourism products from the Andean region and promote a
greater flow of visitors, in line with national strategies to strengthen tourism as an economic engine.
Asimismo, highlighted that MINTUR's
work teams will remain deployed in San Pedro del Río, in
coordination with regional and local government and Tourism Service
Providers, to promote a sustainable tourism model that protects, values and
preserves every landscape of the entity.
