The Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, is participating in the XXIX International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, which opened on June 3 in Russia under the slogan “Pragmatic Dialogue: The Way to a Stable Future” and brings together representatives from more than 130 countries.

During his speech at the event, Cabello promoted Venezuela as an attractive destination for foreign direct investment, highlighting the potential of its natural and cultural attractions, as well as the growth in global demand for experience tourism.

The Venezuelan delegation is headed by the Minister of the People's Power of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, and also composed of the Minister of Foreign Trade, Johann Álvarez Márquez.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, held since 1997, constitutes a platform for exchange between governments, businessmen and specialists to discuss issues related to economic growth, innovation, technology and international trade. This year's edition takes place from 3 to 6 June and includes more than 150 thematic sessions and 14 business dialogues.

This edition has Saudi Arabia as the guest of honor, as part of the commemoration of 100 years of diplomatic relations between Riyadh and Moscow
