Minister Gómez presented community tourist routes to diplomats from China, Cuba, Colombia and Barbados

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, held a meeting with diplomatic attachés from China, Cuba, Colombia and Barbados, to whom she presented the methodology for the promotion of community tourist routes, as part of the project promoted by the National Government for supply in this area.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), during the meeting, the head of national tourism highlighted the importance of consolidating business plans between Venezuela and these friendly nations.

He also addressed the need to maintain agreements to enhance tourist flow and opportunities for economic exchange. At the same time, he highlighted the importance of the participation of local communities in projects, which enrich the visitor's experience and contribute to local sustainable development.

The day also allowed us to reaffirm the commitment to bilateral cooperation, in order to lay the foundations for future alliances that promote understanding between peoples.

These actions of the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism are aligned with the first of the seven transformations promoted by the National Government, whose purpose is to position tourism as an economic engine to energize the national economy.
