Minister Héctor Rodríguez reviewed progress made in the first pedagogical phase 2025-2026

The Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, reported that this Thursday, December 11, he held a videoconference with state education teams, to review the progress of the first Pedagogical Moment that is about to end.

In his account on the social network Telegram, he specified that “we continue to work hard on the 10 challenges we have set ourselves: 100% schooling, school attendance, respect for school time, collective management, guarantee of teachers in the classroom, organization of the payroll, maintenance of infrastructure, among other tasks necessary to improve educational quality”.

He said that during “the Christmas break we will intensify construction and school rehabilitation work. We are currently serving more than 140 campuses.”

According to the 2025-2026 School Calendar, a total of 205 business days of academic activity was established.

This schedule applies to all levels of the Venezuelan education system, and covers initial, primary, general secondary and technical secondary education, which ensures the continuity and planning of the training of the country's youth.

The Christmas break will begin on Monday, December 15, 2025. The December holidays will last for almost a month, with the return to classrooms scheduled for Monday, January 12, 2026, as announced at the time by the authorities of the educational office.
