Minister Heredia: Vocals of the Peasant Councils were elected in 15,563 rural communities

The Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia, specified that the election day of the spokespersons of the Peasant Councils was held in 15,563 rural peasant communities in Venezuela.
He noted that an average of one million people from that sector participated in the above-mentioned election process, demonstrating commitment, organization and love for the land.
For this reason, in the segment of Q5: Political Transformation and Popular Power, in the program With Maduro+, hosted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in its 90th broadcast, Heredia highlighted that this massive turnout demonstrates “the commitment, organization and love for the land of this sector”.
He noted that since last July 18, an organizational process began, through which meetings began to be held in each of the country's rural peasant communities.
He also recognized that, if anything characterizes the peasant people, “it is their combative spirit, their loyalty and their unwavering commitment to defend and fight for the welfare and sovereignty of the country.”
For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, argued that Chavism currently has a solid structure in popular movements, backed by a fighting collective committed to the defense of the Homeland.
He stated that the group “does not allow itself to be intimidated by anyone, and that it is firm in protecting the rights of the Venezuelan people.”
“The Venezuelan people are determined to defend the Homeland,” he emphasized.
In addition, the Minister of People's Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, praised the unity of the People to defend Venezuela from any aggression by the U.S. empire that seeks to violate the peace and tranquility of Venezuelans.
He highlighted the commitment of the country's fishermen to deploy throughout the nation to protect the population, in the face of constant threats from the United States government.
In his speech, the General Commander of the Bolivarian National Militia, M/G Orlando Romero Bolívar, reported that preparations are being made to begin the process of training and training new enlisted men joining the ranks of the Bolivarian Militia.
He stressed that the people of Venezuela are living in times of glory and historic moments that, in 200 years, “will be remembered with the same fervor with which today we remember the exploits of liberation carried out by the emancipating heroes of the Fatherland.”
