Minister Jiménez invites you to participate in the Call for Research Projects

The Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, called for joining the Call for Research Projects under the Leadership of Women Scientists, announced on February 11 by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez in the context of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Jiménez stressed that this mechanism seeks to promote research, development and technological innovation initiatives aimed at generating solutions for the country.

The call is aimed at Venezuelan women residing in the national territory, registered and active in the Venezuelan Registry of Science, Technology and Innovation (RECITVEN).

The projects must respond to the guidelines of the Organic Law of the Plan of the Seven Transformations and to the 14 productive engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda.

Applications may be submitted in areas such as food security, health and biomedicine, basic sciences and engineering, energy and hydrocarbons, social sciences, gender equity, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, climate change and industrial productive development.

The registration process will be available until April 24, 2026 through the recitven.oncti.gob.ve portal.

The minister reiterated that this call is part of the actions to strengthen women's participation in the production of knowledge and in the construction of solutions for national development.
