Minister Jiménez: Registration begins for the Venezuelan Nanotechnology Olympics 2026

The Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, announced that this Thursday the registration process begins for the Venezuelan Nanotechnology Olympics 2026, a call aimed at secondary, technical and university students linked to scientific areas.
Through his Telegram channel, Jiménez noted that the invitation is addressed to young people in general and technical secondary education, university students of nanotechnology and students of related careers in science and engineering.
The minister stressed that this edition seeks to promote youth participation in the study of nanoscale structures. “I invite you to immerse yourself in this experience to explore the world of the infinitely small, the exact universe where the great solutions of tomorrow are born,” he said.
He indicated that the competition will take place in three phases, as a space for the Genius Generation to advance in the creation of scientific and technological proposals. He added that this initiative is part of the national agenda promoted by the Bolivarian Government to strengthen young talent.
Jiménez reiterated that the National Scientific Seedbeds Program supports actions to awaken early vocations and promote technological sovereignty. “We work tirelessly to guarantee technological sovereignty and strengthen the scientific talent of those who will build the Venezuelan Power,” he said.
