Minister Lotartaro: Venezuela makes history with the II Congress of Entrepreneurs — Venezuela Tech Week

This Thursday, May 14, the Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio
Lotartaro, highlighted that today Venezuela is making history with the II Congress of Entrepreneurs
— Venezuela Tech Week, which brought together more than 500 international and national guests.
“Today Venezuela is making history, today Venezuela is inserted in the
ecosystem of technological and digital entrepreneurship; and what way to do it than
with a conference that we have had 4 days where we have held plenaries, business tables
, coworking and exhibitions in which we have been able to see
Venezuelan talent,” he said from the 2nd Congress of Entrepreneurs — Venezuela Tech Week, in La Carlota.
He also reaffirmed that the talent that exists in Venezuela is real and has a lot of potential. At the same time, he emphasized that they were impressed that of those 500 international guests, “today we have more than 200 investment funds here, investment funds that when they make the journey through more than 60 are of Venezuelan technological entrepreneurship, they themselves tell us we are impressed by the talent of Venezuelan entrepreneurship and that there are such initiatives.”
He stressed that one of the things that has also most impressed investors is the “human quality of our young people and our people”.
“Today Venezuela is part of this ecosystem of global technological entrepreneurship and we are very happy that each of these international colleagues decided to come and see with their own eyes that Venezuela is open to the future and is open to becoming that power country that we all dream of,” he said.
