Minister Luis Villegas: Today the People are writing pages of history when choosing community projects

The Minister of Popular Power for National Trade, Luis Villegas, emphasized that “today Venezuelans are writing the pages of history”, since the People have had the opportunity to choose their own projects.

From the Baruta municipality, after exercising the right to vote, in statements to Venezolana de Televisión, he asserted that “President Nicolás Maduro gave Venezuelan youth the opportunity to choose their community projects throughout the national territory.”

He specified that in truth “it is giving the entire new generation of political and social change the opportunity to continue maintaining peace, this being a demonstration of direct, participatory and leading democracy”.

Villegas stressed that this Sunday, July 27, the Venezuelan people came out to exercise their right to vote in a civic, calm and peaceful manner, and praised the work being done by the National Electoral Council (CNE).

He also indicated that he participated in various assemblies at the national level, accompanying the Minister for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro, where they appreciated the political maturity of youth in the territories, demonstrating the level of organization with productive projects that benefit the community and the young people in their environment.
