The Minister of Popular Power for Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, reported that more than five thousand young Venezuelans have recently enrolled in the educational system of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), specifically in careers related to health sciences.
From the Military Academy of the Bolivarian National Guard (AMGNB), at an event broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he stated that “more than five thousand young people see the Military Academy of Medicine as a strong, consistent option of the national education system, accompanied by a great military vocation”.
He said this, stressing the commitment of new generations to the defense and development of the nation.
On the other hand, Padrino López evoked the figure of Commander Hugo Chávez, describing his admission to the FANB as a crucial moment for the country. “One who knew him as a cadet stood out as a military leader, with that wealth of feelings crossed in his mind and heart, with a historical knowledge of Venezuelan and world processes,” he emphasized.
He also highlighted one of the Commander's most admired qualities: his ability to set an example in command and leadership, which made him a reference for generations of soldiers and civilians.
He also pointed out that thanks to the Bolivarian Revolution, a profound reconfiguration has been achieved in Venezuelan military life, with a more humane, inclusive approach committed to the Civic-Military Union.
