Minister Padrino: Popular Power demonstrates its productive capacity at the 1st Meeting of the Community Coffee Plan

In a display of organization and productive force, this Saturday the 1st Meeting of the Municipal Coffee Plan 2026 began in the Ospina municipality of the Portuguese state.

More than 100 coffee communes from all over the country participated in the meeting, where they discussed strategies to consolidate economic sovereignty and move towards a new law for the sector.

The activity was attended by the Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Vladimir Padrino López; the governor of the entity, Primitivo Cedeño, the Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, local mayors, officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

“Faced with the theories of neoliberal extremism that the people are not capable, today from Venezuela we demonstrate to the world with resilience and passion that Popular Power can,” said Padrino López.

He also asserted that community spokespersons demonstrated that the people not only sow, but that they dominate the entire value chain: from production and storage, to the processing, packaging and final marketing of coffee.

The Minister emphasized that coffee has been and has been strengthened as a strategic sector for the country
