More than three thousand Caracas workers are enlisting for peace and the defense of national sovereignty, in the face of threats from the United States government and thus respond to the call of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

In this regard, the Minister of Popular Power for the Social Process of Labor, Eduardo Piñate, emphasized that “all workers are in the enlistment centers to commit themselves to the defense of the Fatherland, fundamentally to face the threats of the empire, of aggression against our Homeland.”

He recalled that on this day, which takes place this Friday, August 29 and runs until this Saturday, the 30th, all workers in the country's strategic sectors, gas, petrochemicals, tourism, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors, are present.

He also said that throughout the national territory, the united, conscious and prepared people are deployed, who are fighting the psychological war that the North American empire seeks to impose.

“However, they will not succeed in undermining Simon Bolivar's project, the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez and the Government of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros,” he said.

For their part, the workers who are part of the fighting forces expressed that they firmly reject threats and offenses, never seen before with warships, nuclear submarines that threaten the sovereignty of the Venezuelan State.

They also highlighted the support that Venezuela, President Maduro, has received from different countries in defense of national sovereignty and independence.

“We are ready to defend our Homeland with the police forces of the Yankee empire. Here are the sons of Chávez, of Bolivar, loyal to President Maduro, our first workers' president,” said the workers.
