The Minister of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Ricardo Molina, harshly questioned the Sin Trick Ni Maña program and the inaction of the United Nations (UN) in the face of the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

“The UN should be ashamed to see that there are governments and peoples concerned about the genocide being committed by the Zionist State, while they, who should act, do not,” said Molina, referring to the silence of the international organization in the face of crimes against the Palestinian people.

He stressed that, despite the passivity of multilateral organizations, there are nations that understand the seriousness of the situation and know what measures must be taken to stop violence.

Regarding the recent report presented by the UN Special Rapporteur, Francesca Albanese, which denounces the commercial interests behind the destruction of Palestine, Molina indicated that those who run these companies disguise their intentions as supposed humanitarian aid.

“These companies are part of an industrial conglomerate that operates on several fronts: they manufacture weapons, sell them and force weak governments to buy them. Then, with the same weapons, they destroy. Then they disguise their intervention as humanitarian aid, occupying territories violently, by military means, but also under the guise of aid,” he explained.

The minister emphasized that this model responds to a logic of global domination. “Everything has the same objective: to dominate the Peoples to steal their resources,” he said.
