The Minister of Popular Power for Petroleum, Delcy Rodríguez, visited the Muscar Industrial Complex in Monagas state to recognize the workers who faced the criminal attack of fascist sectors against this gaseous heart of Venezuela.
“We were in Monagas state, on behalf of President @NicolasMaduroMoros to thank the workers who gallantly stepped forward to resolve, in a short time, the complex situation that emerged after the criminal attack perpetrated by extremist factors on the Muscar Industrial Complex, the gas heart of Venezuela,” Rodríguez said on his Telegram channel.
He also highlighted that the oil working class today plays an important role because they are the defenders of the largest oil reserves and one of the largest gas reserves on the planet.
He stressed to the fascist sectors and the North American empire that their desire to take our reserves by force or without paying “is not going to happen, we are here defending our resources and above all the sovereign use of our resources.”
“Our oil workers have a history marked by dignity, struggle and commitment to defend national sovereignty,” he emphasized and reaffirmed the Bolivarian Government's support for oil workers.
