The Minister of People's Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, arrived in Russia to participate in the United Cultures Forum in St. Petersburg.

“We have come to Russia on behalf of our president Nicolás Maduro Moros to carry the voice of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which in the face of every aggression will resound more vigorously and in every corner of the world: Long live Venezuela, my dear Homeland!” , Villegas said in a post on his Telegram channel.

The Minister, after being received by Ambassador Jesús Salazar Velásquez, asserted that he will bring the voice of Venezuela to all the cultures of the peoples of the world, with the willingness to work for a shared future.

“There will be no possible aggression to silence our music, songs, dances, rhythms, traditions and characteristics typical of our cultural diversity. We will always say under any circumstances, Long live Venezuela my Homeland!”

For his part, Ambassador Salazar, highlighted the strength of the Venezuelan people who stand up, with dignity, to the aggressions of the North American empire. “We are in this place to participate in this very important cultural forum, with respect for diversity,” he said.

He stressed that this year Venezuela has had great cultural participation, such as its presence at the Moscow culture festival. “We had a resounding participation of dancers with 150 musicians who delighted those present with the performances of Russian composers,” he said.
