This Sunday, July 27, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, exercised his right to vote and invited the population to participate in the municipal elections and in the Popular Youth Consultation 2025.
From the Miguel Antonio Caro
Educational Unit, located in the Sucre parish of Caracas,
he highlighted the importance of this process, which combines both dimensions and
especially attracts those who relate to cultural expressions in the country.
“Venezuela is
a cultural powerhouse. Because of that culture, that identity and that diversity, we have
an appointment this July 27,” he said, stressing that the electoral process “is very
fluid and invites us to choose our colleagues in charge of
responsibilities that are very close to the community.”
In that regard, he reiterated
the call to men and women of Venezuela to exercise their right to vote with an
identity card in hand.
The head of
Culture thanked him for the opportunity to share with supporters of the National Circus Art Network and representatives
of traditional events such as the
cult of San Juan Bautista and La Burriquita, who accompanied him on this day.
The municipal elections this Sunday, July 27, seek to renew 2,806 elected positions, including 335 mayors, as well as councilors by list, nominal and by indigenous representation.
