Ministry for Culture invites the Palmeras of Venezuela to be welcomed at the Waraira Repano

Through its Instagram account, the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture extended the invitation to the population to participate in the reception of the Palmeras of Venezuela, this Saturday, March 28, starting at 10:00 in the morning.

He also indicated that the activity will take place at the entrance of Sabas Nieves, in the Waraira Repano, where homage will be paid to this traditional practice that unites faith, nature and living culture.

He stressed that this “meeting that reaffirms the creative powers of the people and the deep spirituality of the people that flourishes in every palm. We are waiting for you! ”, he said.

The Palmeras of Venezuela are guardians of a tradition with more than two centuries of history, in which they climb the mountain to collect palms that will be blessed during Palm Sunday, marking the beginning of Holy Week in the country.
