Ministry for Tourism evaluated the operability of the Warairarepano and Mukumbarí cable cars

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez Hernández, held a meeting with representatives of the renowned Austrian company Doppelmayr, with the objective of evaluating the maintenance, continuous improvements and operation of the emblematic Mukumbarí and Warairarepano Cable Car Systems as part of the initiatives promoted by the ministerial body to guarantee the optimal conditions of national attractions.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, during the day, Gómez stressed the importance of ensuring the excellent functioning of the tourist infrastructure; “part of the experience that visitors have is thanks to the good condition and functioning of the tourist equipment in each of our destinations and that is the commitment we assume,” he said.

In preparation for the next 2025 vacation season, he said that “details are being fine-tuned to make these holidays successful for those who want to know and enjoy our beautiful country”.

In addition, he reaffirmed President Nicolás Maduro's firm commitment to supporting initiatives that promote national destinations and strengthen tourism as a fundamental pillar for the economy, in line with the first of the seven transformations promoted by the National Government.

It should be noted that the Doppelmayr Group is a corporation with extensive experience in high-performance cable transport for transporting people and materials, present in 97 countries with an impressive number of 5,700 cable cars installed on six continents, two of them in Venezuela.
