Ministry of Ecosocialism opened a website to manage inquiries and complaints

The Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism (MINEC) made available the website https://0800ambiente.com/ so that Venezuelans can express their concerns, make inquiries and make requests.

The portal constitutes an agile, current and simple communication channel, through which citizens can report any type of wrongdoing or action that affects the environment and violates the regulations that govern the matter, the MINEC reported.

Among the aspects that can be addressed are those concerning water, damage to aquifers, wastewater and contamination of tributaries and reservoirs; biological diversity, channeling cases of fauna (capture and commercialization); flora, forest resources, air pollution, logging, burning and illegal forest use.

In addition, complaints and inquiries will be received related to soil contamination, earthworks for illegal mineral extraction and places where erosion occurs due to human causes.

The 0800ambiente.com website is a complement to the toll-free 0800-AMBIENT telephone line (0800-262.43.68).
