Ministry of Health benefits ophthalmic patients with Surgical Plan in Guárico

More than 1,500 people in Guárico state receive preoperative evaluations as part of the first phase of a surgical plan for the care of cataracts, glaucoma and pterygium, whose surgeries will be carried out in the coming days.

The opening day, which took place in the State Government, included the activation of a mobile unit with advanced technology and the participation of specialists from the Miracle Mission, the Ministry of People's Power for Health reported in a press release.

Among the procedures performed by the medical team are ultrasound and cell count studies, as well as ophthalmological consultations.
