As part of the Anzoátegui Tourism Fair 2025, a new tourist route was certified by the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism (MINTUR) in Barcelona, Simón Bolívar municipality of the entity.
This is the “Barcelona: History and Mystery” route located in the historic center of this city and along the way, attendees can hear myths and legends that the city located in the east of the country holds.
Minister Leticia Gómez presented Mayor Sugey Herrera, together with Governor Luis José Marcano, with the certificate of validation of this new option on the stand installed in the exhibitor room of the regional event held at the Paradise Hotel, where part of the tour is staged.
The tour lasts just over an hour, starting at the Casa Fuerte, covering part of 5 de Julio Boulevard and Bolívar-Chávez Boulevard, as well as the Casa de la Mantuana, Barcelona Cathedral, Anzoátegui Museum, Municipal Palace, Ricaurte Boulevard, El Carmen Chapel, Cajigal Theater and Plaza Rolando, explains a regional press release.
