Ministry of Transport begins recovery of Angostura bridge attacked by the fascist right

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, reported that a multidisciplinary technical team is deployed on the Angostura bridge in Bolívar state to begin with the recovery of the damage caused by the terrorist attacks of the fascist right.

“We started with the restoration of 2,400 hairs of wire to return the strength with which the bridge was built, at the same time applying a maintenance, lighting and security system with cameras that allows us to maintain real-time monitoring of the safety of the bridge because it is an important project in the south and the north of the country,” he explained.

The head of the country's highway portfolio added that this is “an instruction from President Nicolás Maduro, which includes the preservation of the entire structure and what it represents for the country.” He also pointed out that the same control and monitoring measures will be taken on the Orinoquia bridge in Puerto Ordaz, where an exhaustive follow-up will be carried out.
