Ministry of Transport completes total renovation of road accesses to the Pérez Carreño Hospital

The Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation (MPPT) accelerated the rehabilitation of the medical infrastructure in Caracas through the deployment of machinery on La Guayanita street in Bella Vista, with the objective of carrying out the total renovation of the parking lot and the access areas of the “Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño” General Hospital.
This intervention takes place in the strategic context of the “José Gregorio Hernández” Plan, to optimize healthcare services in the capital, the MPPT reported on its Instagram account.
As part of this high-priority project, technical crews are carrying out the massive removal of 2,000 square meters of the deteriorated bearing layer.
Road engineering maneuvers include phases of scarification, mechanical demolition and edge profiling, tasks that make way for the installation of new pavement in the sector.
The execution of these infrastructure works seeks to consolidate an optimal road environment within the hospital perimeter. With this technical refurbishment, the administration of land transport seeks to dignify the conditions of care for patients, while ensuring safe and efficient transportation for all health personnel working in the medical facility.
