Ministry of University Education attends 13 temporary camps with mental health specialists

From its Instagram user, the Ministry of Popular Power for University Education (MPPEU) reported the deployment of mental health specialists in 13 temporary camps to provide comprehensive care to families affected by the double earthquake of June 24.

In its publication, the ministerial portfolio highlights that emotional care is a fundamental pillar in the recovery process. In this sense, he coordinates and executes this approach plan in a joint effort with schools of psychologists, psychiatrists, federations and various universities in the country.

The publication highlights that “we know that after an event of this magnitude it is natural to feel anguish, fear or uncertainty. That's why accompanying, listening and creating safe spaces is vital to moving forward.”
