The Ministry of Health (MPPS) organized a day of classification and distribution of medical supplies for the immediate care of citizens affected by the recent earthquake.
In the activity, carried out at the Parque Bolívar Convention Center in La Carlota, the supply of drugs, derived from international cooperation and community effort, was organized by therapeutic group.
Supplies intended for direct delivery through the National Public Health System (SPNS) include antihypertensive drugs, injectable medications, medical-surgical equipment, technical aids and anti-inflammatory drugs.
This deployment, according to a press release, is aimed at ensuring the comprehensive protection of Venezuelan families, as well as the continuous supply of treatments and timely care in the face of contingency.
