One of the benefits offered by the Law for the Promotion and Promotion of Venezuelan Cocoa is the creation of a single agricultural box office so that producers can carry out the necessary procedures from the very entities where they are located, said the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez.

“That law that we enacted yesterday is the one stop shop for agriculture and exports. Officials must be with this in each of the places where cocoa is produced, in this case,” Rodríguez stressed during a meeting with cocoa producers in the state of Miranda, as part of the second phase of the national pilgrimage to demand the lifting of sanctions.

In addition, at the above-mentioned meeting, the president of the Legislative Branch called on producers in the state of Miranda to resume important initiatives such as that of Oderí Cacao, which has a plant that could be very useful for the processing of the production of this category.

“That big plant in Oderí, where and how is it? Why don't we take those ideas that have been deteriorating and recover them so that the producer can pack the product and be processed there so that it doesn't have to be dried on the asphalt,” he asked?

On the other hand, Rodríguez drew attention to the importance of teaching our boys and girls about the quality of the varieties of cacao that are produced within our country, which can be much higher than those in other latitudes.

“If we don't put the love and importance of this seed (cacao) into the souls and brains of our children, we're going to lose it,” he said.
