Teams from the Miranda Fire Prevention Directorate continue to be deployed on the streets evaluating the structural damage caused by the double earthquake of last June 24.

This was reported by the Government of the entity, through a press release, in which it was detailed that these works are carried out “under the coordination of the State Government through the Secretariat of Citizen Security and Peaceful Coexistence”.

In this regard, General Laura Gerardi, first commander of the institution, explained that these inspections in homes, businesses and public spaces are carried out to determine the level of risk and bring peace of mind to the people of Miranda.

Gerardi stressed that with these technical tasks carried out by firefighters, they act as direct support to the Risk Management System, especially in support of Civil Protection, the body that is responsible for acting and leading care in this type of case.

“We are working together, providing the necessary support to execute these tasks and provide the necessary peace of mind to our people watching us.”
