Last Thursday, July 17, Misión Cultura brought to the Ramona Figueredo School in Biruaca, Apure State, an enriching cultural day with the holding of the reading workshop for children “Tell me a story”.
According to the Ministry for Culture, the day was led by the tutor of the Cultural Mission, Isaura Muñoz, who brought together 21 participants, including 10 boys and 11 girls.
The central objective of this workshop is to promote a love for reading among younger people and, in turn, to motivate written expression through drawing. This activity underlines the institutional commitment to the humanistic development of children, recognizing reading as a fundamental tool for personal growth and creativity.
Through the promotion of these spaces, the conviction that reading is the essential way for the rescue, promotion and dissemination of our valuable cultural manifestations and traditions is reaffirmed.
