The Cultural Movement Mission extended the invitation to all the Venezuelan people to participate in a large and varied cultural program that will take place from Monday, December 8 to Friday, December 12. The agenda is framed by the strengthening of identity and heritage, complemented by social care days and commemorative events.
In that sense, the activities will start this Tuesday, December 9, at 2:00 p.m., with a new edition of Misión Cultura en Movimiento Podcast with the theme “The Mono de Caicara”. The program will have the special participation of Juana Evariste, Butler of the Caicara Mono and director of the Parranda el Morichal. It will be broadcast live on the Instagram account @MisiónCultura_Ve.
On Thursday the 11th, at 10:00 a.m., Misión Cultura en Movimiento Podcast will return with the theme “Joropeando”. This issue will take place within the framework of the declaration of the Venezuelan Joropo as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The guest will be Maestro Eduardo Matos, renowned dancer and lover of the joropo.
Venezuelan rhythm will continue to be present on digital platforms with live performances that explore the nation's musical richness. On Thursday 11th, at 11:00 a.m. it will be the turn of Misión Cultura en Movimiento Concerti, which will present a sample of variants of the Venezuelan joropo, by the traditional cast and musicians of the National Dance Company, with comments from teachers Juan Montoya and Óscar Lista. The live broadcast will be on Tik Tok @MisiónCultura_Ve, from the headquarters of the National Dance Company.
On Friday the 12th, the bagpipe group “El Milagro” will be presented at 2:00 p.m., and “El Chronnher y su salsa” at 4:00 p.m. at the headquarters of the Cultural Mission, in Caracas. Both concerts will be broadcast live on Tik Tok @MisiónCultura_Ve. In addition, “Las Noches del Centro” will arrive at Plaza El Venezolano with the Latin Mafia, The Legacy of Elio Pacheco, at 5:00 p.m.
