Misión Más Años Más Amor served 100 grandparents in Lara

The Great Mission More Years More Love, a national public policy created by President Nicolás Maduro to assist the elderly, served 100 grandparents from Buena Vista parish, in Barquisimeto, Lara state.

Alba López, president of the Municipal Institute for Social Development (IMDES), the body that managed the assistance, reported that the day included medical consultations, physiotherapy, drug delivery, barbershop, hairdressing, manicure, eyebrow shaping, recreation, dance therapy, psychological care and nutrition.

Pedro Giménez, a resident of Buena Vista, said: “Grateful for this attention, it's very important for us older adults that institutions pay more attention to us.”

López, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), announced that these days of the More Years More Love Mission will be extended this month of December to the ten parishes of the Iribarren municipality.
