A total of 120 animals were sterilized and 150 pets immunized with the six-fold vaccine during a massive day of comprehensive veterinary care deployed in Los Teques parish, Guaicaipura municipality.

According to information issued by the government, the activity was carried out at the Nevado Mission Comprehensive Veterinary Center.

Specifically, surgical care was performed on 98 felines and 22 community and domestic canines.

It's not just an operation, it's a permanent protection network for our people and their animals,” said García.
The entity's Secretary of Animal Protection, Maigualida Vargas, said that “with these sterilizations and vaccines, we are raising the quality of life of the animals and establishing a vital health fence against lethal and high-risk infectious diseases in the area, such as distemper and parvovirus.

“A truly just society is measured by the respect and treatment it gives to the most vulnerable, and that includes our pets and community animals.
From the Government, we continue to add efforts and resources so that these comprehensive days are multiplied in all axes of our state,” he emphasized.
