Misión Sonrisa delivered 154 dental prostheses to older adults

A total of 154 older adults benefited from the Smile Mission with the delivery of dental prostheses free of charge.

The activity, as reported by the Ministry of Health in a press release, involved the participation of a multidisciplinary team of dentists, technicians and staff of the National Public Health System (SPNS), who carried out evaluations, adaptations and placement of prostheses, contributing to the well-being and confidence of each beneficiary.

During the day, Carmen Jiménez, one of the beneficiaries, said: “I am grateful for this special moment to bring us back a smile and I hope that she will continue to carry out this type of activity.”

These actions seek to serve vulnerable communities and guarantee the right to health in an inclusive manner, reaffirming the role of the Smile Mission as an emblematic program that returns smiles and hope to the people.
