Monagas Government addresses wastewater failure in Maturín

Responding to the call of the communities of
Maturín, the governor, Ernesto Luna, directed to addressing the
problem of wastewater present on Barreto Street in the San Simón parish.
The maintenance work is carried out
jointly between the Institute of Infrastructure, Ecosocialism, Habitat and
Housing (INFRAMONAGAS) and Aguas de Monagas, with support from the
Ministry of Popular Power for Public Works. In this regard, we
proceeded to uncover two visiting holes and 100 meters of collector.
During the work, solid waste and
wastewater were extracted, reaching the release of the mother pipe, which was completely covered under
rubble. The excavation made it possible
to stabilize and clean the land and then connect the concrete
pipes (rainwater and sewage).
Currently, the ground continues to be stabilized
with slurry to make pipe connections and then lay the asphalt layer
.
With these works, the Bolivarian Government complies
with the attention of public services to favor 80 people
who live in the affected area.
