This Monday, the governor of Miranda state, Héctor Rodríguez, delivered 305 gas cylinders to families in Filas de Mariche, Sucre municipality.
The activity was carried out in the Bolivar Park in La Carlota. Rodríguez pointed out that to date the municipalities of Mariche have received 605 gas cylinders, so he assured that they will continue working until all families have their cylinders.
“The communities that are close to the gas pipes will be connected so that they forget about the cylinders, that way we will alleviate the demand for the cylinders,” he explained.
He recalled that last year more than 6 million cylinders were delivered, equivalent to more than 500 thousand cylinders per month.
“We have to keep working so that the gas service keeps working well and that more families have their cylinders in good condition,” he confirmed.
For his part, the Secretary of Gas of the state of Miranda, José Aranguren, expressed the importance of the work carried out by the three levels of Government with the People's Power to resolve problems in the area of public services.
Likewise, the mayor of the Sucre municipality, José Vicente Rangel Ávalos, highlighted popular organization as a key to improving the quality of life of the population of Filas de Mariche, as well as in the rest of the jurisdiction, with the support of Governor Héctor Rodríguez.
Finally, Rubert Velásquez, spokesperson for the community, noted that the reduction times of gas cylinder distribution cycles improved significantly after the recovery of the Waraira Repano filling plant.
