Within the framework of the Popular, Military and Police Fusion, the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecological Mining Development held the Special Day of Territorial Base with the mining communities of the Sifontes municipality, Bolívar state, including Tumremo and Los Arenales, with the participation of Minister Héctor Silva.

This activity responds directly to the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, in carrying out the three fundamental tasks of the Congress of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV): strengthening the capacity to govern from the territory, consolidating communal power and preparing the people for the comprehensive defense of the nation.

The day began with a mining community assembly in the courtyard of the Mining Service Office, where the Militant Coffee was held, a space for meeting and reflection between workers, community leaders, militiamen and representatives of social movements. This shared coffee not only served to open the debate, but also as a symbol of active militancy and territorial commitment.

More than 300 participants joined the working groups, building strategic proposals along presidential lines. The discussions revolved around the territorial organization of mining communities, the role of the PSUV as a governing party, and the need to strengthen the communal structure as the epicenter of political work.

At the end of the day, the Community Sancocho was held in Los Arenales, a collective meal that brought together workers, militiamen and community members in a gesture of brotherhood and celebration of popular power. This sancocho, prepared by the communities themselves, became an act of unity, joy and reaffirmation of revolutionary commitment.

Each panel selected a spokesperson to present its conclusions in the plenary, where Minister Héctor Silva offered closing words, highlighting the role of the mining people in the defense of sovereignty and the construction of the new popular constituent process.

President Nicolás Maduro, at the recent Fifth Congress of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, instructed us to deploy together with all popular power to listen to the people, through generative questions that allow us to collect their proposals. The president has reiterated it on numerous occasions: the real wise are the people, and that is precisely why we came today, to listen to them,” said the Minister of Mining.

Silva also highlighted the method devised by President Maduro, which are the working tables where miners and miners must make contributions that increase the growth of the community and the growth of the mining sector.

“We have listened to them and we see that it is essential to train the mining sector, to train young people to handle heavy machinery; the Ministry's team will coordinate with the Inces Bolívar team to certify this knowledge and we are going to bring those courses to train those courageous youth,” concluded the minister.

The base document, with the proposals originated in the working groups, will be systematized by the Ministry of Mining to guide future actions in the territory. This day marks a milestone in the articulation between the community movement, the workers of the Mining Engine, the Bolivarian Militia and the Combatant Corps, consolidating civic-military unity as a guarantee of peace, independence and revolution.
