More than 400 students will recreate the Battle of Carabobo in Tocuyito

More than 400 students from the Libertador municipality will participate on June 24 in the staging of the Battle of Carabobo, an activity that will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Plaza Bolívar de Tocuyito, said Mayor Oscar Orsini.

In this regard, he indicated that the educational units Crispín Pérez, Batalla de Carabobo, La India, Barreras, Juan Ramón González Vaquero and 12 de Octubre, located in the town, will intervene, and explained that the representation will be moved this year to a busy space to bring the historical event closer to the community, according to information published on the Úlmas Noticias web portal.

Orsini noted that the day will allow attendees to learn about the origin of the independence quest and stressed that the students will assume the roles of Simón Bolívar, Pedro Camejo and other protagonists of the fight.

The municipal president invited the inhabitants of Carabobo to accompany the activity, which is part of the annual commemoration of the date commemorating the military action that consolidated Venezuelan independence.
