More than 470 thousand people mobilized this March 30 across the country

On Monday, March 30, as part of the start of the Holy Week holiday, 470 thousand 515 people were mobilized by land, air and water, with a total of 1,873 transport platforms deployed throughout the country.

According to reports from the transport ministry replicated by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), in the terrestrial sector, there were 81,640 passengers transported through 574 public transport units, while the railway system and cable systems carried 365,496.

As for the airline sector, 114 domestic and 38 international operations were reported, with 6,691 passengers boarding domestic flights and 3,094 on international routes. For its part, the aquatic sector mobilized 13,527 passengers in 988 domestic vessels and 67 passengers in four international vessels.

The official balance sheet also shows that to date 3,615 civil servants and 185 means have been deployed to protect the safety of travelers.

In terms of incidents, zero accidents were reported in the land, air and water sectors during Monday, with a cumulative total of one event recorded since the start of the operation, corresponding to a vessel, as well as two service failures addressed in a timely manner.
