More than 70 Lara artists exhibit their works at the GAN

The Deputy Minister stressed that this exhibition is intended not to centralize the works only in Caracas

As part of the Caracas Book Fair, the National Art Gallery (GAN) opened its doors to the exhibition that exhibits the works of 74 artists from the state of Lara, an initiative that seeks to rescue the values of the region, represented by popular culture, said Mary Pemjean, Deputy Minister of Image and Space Arts of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the vice-minister stressed that this exhibition is intended not to centralize the works only in Caracas. In addition, he commented that visitors will be able to enjoy Larense music and also the different experiences of the teachers from that region who will be present at the GAN.

“We are estimating that these exhibitions can be extended until next month,” he said. At the same time, he recalled that last week a beautiful exhibition of photographs of Jerusalem, by the journalist and photographer, Francisco Solórzano, better known as “Frasso”, was inaugurated.

He also reported that it is scheduled for next week to present an exhibition of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, in which photographs of the advances of culture in the national territory will be exhibited. “We are going to show through photographs our beautiful culture starting from a tour of the country, we will observe the depths of the artisans, musicians, dancers; a whole multi-ethnic diversity,” he said.
