The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of fatalities from Israeli attacks has increased to 72,610 since October 7, 2023, after two dead and three injured people were taken to hospitals after Zionist bombings in the last 24 hours.

Authorities noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, due to access difficulties faced by ambulances and rescue teams, further aggravating the humanitarian crisis.

Since the beginning of the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, 830 have been killed, 2,345 injured and 767 bodies recovered have been reported. The total balance sheet, updated in May 2026, reflects the magnitude of the tragedy with figures that exceed 172,300 injured, many with permanent injuries or amputations. The emergency situation continues to worsen due to the blockade and lack of resources, which prevent the arrival of aid to the most affected areas.

In addition, the figures show that more than 21,000 of the victims are children, evidencing the devastating impact on the child population. The persistence of bombing and military operations in various areas of Gaza continue to increase these alarming numbers, further deepening the humanitarian crisis in the region.
