In an effort to ensure the safety and well-being of the population during Holy Week 2026, 1,309 police, military and civil protection officers were deployed in the state of Guayana Esequiba.

This operational deployment included the use of 135 motorcycles and 136 vehicles, thus ensuring comprehensive protection for the entire population and the tourists visiting the region.

The Commander of ZODI Guayana Esequiba, Henry González Velázquez, highlighted the importance of raising awareness about responsible enjoyment, noting that “the best prevention for a happy and safe Holy Week is to enjoy responsibly”.

In addition, the Secretary of Public Security of the Bolivarian State of Guayana Esequiba, Xabier De Bidegain, assured that they will be present in the areas of influence of state number 24, reaffirming Governor Neil Villamizar's commitment to the safety of all.

This deployment seeks not only to ensure safety, but also to promote an environment of tranquility and enjoyment during the holy holiday.
