More than three tons of cocaine and six detainees left a maritime procedure

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) managed to seize 3,000 kilos of cocaine with 134 grams, according to information issued by this military body.

According to the information, the incident occurred during a procedure on board a patrol vessel, between the border between Venezuela and Granada in the Caribbean Sea, which, in the company of three prosecutors, received from the patrol boat Frances Germinalle the quantity of 100 packages of cocaine and six Venezuelan detainees.

The procedure is achieved through the principle of territoriality, through the International Anti-Drug Cooperation agreement between the French Republic and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela; arriving at Puerto El Morro de Valdez in the state of Nueva Esparta.
