MP extends arrest warrants against Argentine officials

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that his office issued an arrest warrant against other officials of the Argentine State for their participation in the theft of the EMTRASUR aircraft.

Among the requested officials are: Gerardo Federico Villena, federal judge; Cecilia Cardona, federal prosecutor and Ricardo López Yamil Santoro, among others, who will be charged with the crimes of aggravated theft, legitimation of capital, simulation of a punishable act, illegitimate deprivation of liberty, disuse of aircraft and association for the purpose of linking.

Saab explained that the arrest warrant is accompanied by the International Red Alert; and that “they are the result of the investigative activity of this Public Ministry”.

He also pointed out that what happened with the EMTRASUR plane was a concocted plan that involved the participation of Argentine authorities, while recalling that these arrest warrants are in addition to those previously announced against Javier Milei, President of the Argentine Republic; Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency and against the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich.
