MPPC opened the call for the National Culture Award 2025

The Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC) announced that the call for participation in the National Culture Award 2025 is now open, an opportunity to recognize creators who have provided their outstanding contributions in various artistic and cultural disciplines in the country.
This was announced by the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, through his social networks, in which he shared the statement that highlights that the initiative seeks to identify and honor creators who have contributed significantly in areas such as literature, music, dance, theater, plastic arts, crafts, cinema, popular culture, photography, traditional knowledge, architecture and humanities.
Applications may be made by natural or legal persons, both public and private, organized communities and collectives, as well as by initiatives of the interested party.
In addition, the honorable mention is aimed at creators with at least 20 years of proven experience in their discipline, and may be awarded posthumously if so decided.
The call will be open from September 8 to December 8, 2025. Interested parties should send their proposals and documentation supporting their years of experience to the email [email protected].
