MPPT will close Troncal 01 via Maracay starting September 1 due to maintenance work

The Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation (MPPT), reported that they will partially close Troncal 01, in the direction of Maracay, Aragua state, from September 1 to October 4, 2025, due to maintenance work on the load-bearing beams of the Las Gaviotas Distributor bridge, located in the Coche parish, in Caracas.
In this regard, he pointed out on his social networks that rehabilitation work will take place from 9:00pm to 5? 00 am. For that reason, he urged drivers to take necessary precautions.
He also explained that there will be “total closure from #1Sep to #7Sep on Troncal 10, between the Santa Bárbara and El Silencio sectors, a road that connects Bolívar and Delta Amacuro. Therefore, traffic will be diverted through the Crucero de Mata Negra sector to the Rio Tigre exit (via Morichal)”.
The MPPT continues to be deployed throughout the country, carrying out maintenance and recovery of road infrastructure.
